About me
Welcome to my homepage! I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where I work alongside Prof. Molin Wang and collaborate with Prof. Donna Spiegelman from Yale School of Public Health.
Before joining Harvard, I earned my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at the Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University, under the guidance of esteemed advisors, Prof. Robert H. Lyles and Prof. Lance A. Waller. I was fortunate to have an exceptional dissertation committee that included Prof. Howard H. Chang, Prof. Timothy L. Lash and Prof. Kevin C. Ward.
Prior to that, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Yuan Longping honor program offered by Hanhong College at Southwest University, Chongqing, China, where I studied under the guidance of Prof. Xianning Liu, and my Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Rochester, where I was advised by Prof. Xin Tu.
My research centers on correcting misclassification and measurement error in disease surveillance research, cancer epidemiology and environmental health, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) and cutting-edge study and sampling design to advance epidemiological methods. I also collaborate closely with professions across various fields, including epidemiologists, physicians, economists, public health scientists, providing essential statistical expertise and advancing our shared goal of improving public health.
I am on the 2024-2025 job market.
